2016 SURF applications are now open

Rhode Island NSF EPSCoR is currently accepting student applications for the 2016 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program.

The 2016 SURF will run from May 23 — July 29, and is open to undergraduates at all RI NSF EPSCoR partner institutions: Brown University, Bryant University, Community College of Rhode Island, Providence College, Rhode Island College, Rhode Island School of Design, Roger Williams University, Salve Regina University, and University of Rhode Island.

RISD and Brown students have enjoyed the interdisciplinary thinking and making when participating in SURF at the Nature Lab before, and have produced great work to engage the public in marine conservation issues with a focus on marine plankton from Narragansett Bay .
