10/5 In the Field: Tree Tour with Arborist Tonay Gooday-Ervin
Local arborist Tonay Gooday-Ervin joined us on October 5 for a presentation on and tour of the arboreal life around RISD's campus, and shared insights on their work with the PVD Tree Plan and Providence Neighborhood Planting Program. Participants encountered sycamores, maples, hornbeams, redbuds, crabapples, ginkgos, lindens, oaks, sumacs, and more, and ended their tour learning about companion planting in the Regenerative Earth Collective's garden on DeFoe Place.
