1/14 Lunch + Learn: Vis-a-Thon
About the program: Join the Nature Lab on Wednesday, January 14 at 12:00 PM for a special Lunch + Learn talk with participants from the 2025 iteration of Vis-a-Thon, a "a collaborative program that pairs Rhode Island STEM researchers with RISD graduate student artists to explore art-based approaches to science visualization that surface unexpected questions and connections in their research through a focused, hackathon-style format." Former participants and recipients of Collaborative Visualization Grants Pablo Cazares MFA SC 26 and Stephanie Van Riet MFA SC 26 will speak about their experiences collaborating with scientists on creative installations, alongside Vis-a-Thon Co-Creator and Visualization and Imaging Research Manager Georgia Rhodes.
