4/20 - 4/24: BioPossibilities Exhibition
RSVP on Involved for the exhibition and its accompanying events!
The Nature Lab is excited to present BioPossibilities, an exhibition of materials-driven and regenerative works from over 40 RISD students, faculty, and staff. BioPossibilities will be on view in the Waterman Gallery from April 20-24, and on Earth Day 2026 (Wednesday, April 22) the Nature Lab will offer a day of accompanying programs, including an open house, live demos, and a show reception.
BioPossibilities centers Nature Lab’s commitment to material reuse, regenerative design, biomaterials research, and experimental fabrication. The 35+ selected works actively engage with Nature Lab resources like the Biodesign Makerspace, biomaterials library, and Loop Lab to approach conceptual and material strategy, in which organic or bio-derived substances explore pathways to embrace regenerative materiality.
